The Best Foods For Weight Loss – Unsweetened Secret Quickly Eliminates Stomach Fat

September 3rd, 2010

You dread the thought of trying to lose the disgusting rolls of stomach fat caked to your body because you think you need to give up all your favorite foods.

And the truth is… you just might have too.

At least some of them.

Most of the “experts” sugar coat this fact with absolutely ludicrous claims that you can lose all the weight you want by eating whatever you want.

NEWSFLASH… you need to turn around and run the other way from such claims.

I mean, sooner or later you’re gonna have to face it, there are some foods that you love… that will keep you fat for the rest of your life!

And yes, some of the best foods for weight loss just may taste like “dirt” to you.

So where does all of this leave you?

Desperately wanting to lose weight, but feeling it’s too much of a hassle. And about 20 pounds overweight with zero motivation to do anything about it!

So here’s a question that just may help you out?

Are you willing to waste the rest of your life with that nasty fat giggling around every time you take a step just because you might have to give up some of your favorite foods?

If you’re honest you’d have to admit that it seems a bit foolish.

And here’s something else.

Something a little more on the “logical” side.

Something that I’ve discovered with many of my clients. Myself included. And it just may help boost your motivation.

Perhaps you can’t stand the taste of many of the best foods for weight loss simply because they aren’t sugar coated?

Seems a bit simplistic, I realize. But it’s just plain FACT!

Here’ what I mean…

What happens after you spend the entire day at the mall on a hyped-up credit card spending spree. Everything else seems booooooooaring!

It’s no different with the continuous consumption of sugar coated, sweetened food. Every food that’s not sweetened becomes “untasteworthy”.

You find yourself adding sauces, spices, salt and sugar to everything.

All the stuff that’s keeping you fat.

I recently spent the weekend with some good friends of mine.

It was like deja vu. The vast majority of the food that they consumed was packaged, “pop in the microwave” junk.

The reason it was such an eye-opening experience for me was that I used to eat all the same stuff. The result was that I was fat, fat and more fat.

I was able to slowly wein myself off such a diet to one that consisted of mainly organic, foods. Food that was mostly in its most natural state. Void of all artificial sweeteners and other “taste enhancers”. Basically, the best foods for weight loss.

At the time it seemed very “bland”, but as I got used to it, it became awesome.

In fact, I now feel that my mostly organic, (food found in its natural form) diet, tastes far better than my old diet.

The point is that to my friends, the food I ate seemed “tasteless”.

They had to “supe-it-up” with all the typical sauces, sweeteners and other lard producing culprits to the point that you couldn’t even taste the food.

But to me it was overflowing my taste-buds with flavor.

Bottom line: It wasn’t always this way. I had to get used to it. Now that I’m used to it though… I have a body completely void of all stomach fat, far healthier and I will NEVER go back to eating the garbage I used to.

Here’s a few final notes for you…

The shocking thing is that nearly all items purchased at the grocery store have been artificially sweetened. And it makes no difference whether it says it on the label or not.

This means that you may think you’re eating good, when really your diet is nothing more than processed junk.

My advice to those who are looking to lose weight fast… GET SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR DIET.

One very powerful fat shredding secret of many of the best foods for weight loss is that they contain no artificial sweeteners. They often will not taste good to you at first. They can take some getting used to. But stick with it and I’d wager to bet that you will NEVER go back.

In my next article I will list ten of the best foods for weight loss. Until then.

Elders lack knowledge of stroke signs, risk factors | Free Blog at Com-x2

September 3rd, 2010

Among 2033 older men and women, fewer than half knew that dizziness, numbness, weakness, and headache are common warning signs of stroke, report Dr. Anne Hickey, of Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and colleagues.

Just 54 percent listed slurred speech as an indicator of stroke, the researchers report in the online journal BMC Geriatrics.

When asked to list the most common risk factors for stroke, about three-quarters of the men and women accurately listed high blood pressure. By contrast, 40 percent or fewer knew high cholesterol and smoking also increase stroke risk. Only about 10 percent knew diabetes and alcohol use are also risk factors for stroke.

These findings highlight the significant gaps in elders’ understanding of early stroke warning signs and risk factors, Hickey and colleagues report. “As such, many older adults may not recognize early symptoms of stroke in themselves or others,” they warn. Thus, they may lose “vital time” in getting help.

On average, the study sample was 74 years old and 57 percent female. Overall, 25 percent of the men and women had a history of heart disease and 6 percent reported a prior stroke.

Another 36 and 17 percent were past and current smokers, respectively, and this group was more likely to identify smoking as a stroke risk factor than never smokers.

However, consistent with the findings of other investigators, this study revealed the generally poor understanding elders have regarding factors leading to or indicative of stroke, Hickey and colleagues note.

Since effective stroke care requires rapid identification and medical intervention, Hickey’s group suggests the need for substantially improved public education with regard to stroke prevention.

Stop Being A Victim Of The Recession. Start Making Money Online Now

September 3rd, 2010

There is no better time to start an online business. The economy may be going down the tubes, but the internet is still alive and kicking. Nearly 80% of the over 1.5 billion internet users worldwide buy products and services online. USA Today estimates online sales of products and services reach in excess of 670 million dollars a day. That’s right, a day! With such a staggering amount of money changing hands on a daily basis, it’s easy to understand why more and more people are turning to the internet to make a living.

Have you considered the idea of working from home? Maybe it’s time to stop thinking about it and go for it. The internet is the only place that offers legitimate money making opportunities with little or no startup money and virtually no significant monetary risk. It sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? Well it is true.

I’ll let you in on a little secret. You don’t need to own your own website to make money online. You don’t even need your own product. There are thousands of people around the world who have made millions selling other people’s products. These people are called affiliate marketers. An affiliate marketer is a person who promotes other peoples’ products for a set percentage of the sales price. In the good old days, they were called commissioned salesmen.

There are more affiliate programs available on the internet then I could possibly take the time to type up. Instead of presenting you with a seemingly endless list and letting you figure out what to do from there, I’ll point you to three websites that specialize in affiliate programs. All three of these websites are extremely creditable and well established in the online marketplace.

Each is absolutely free to join. All three have a time tested and proven track record for paying out affiliate commissions on time, every time. Clickbank and Paydotcom specialize in digital products. These digital products range from informational ebooks, to affiliate promotional websites, to instantly downloadable software. You just send people to the website of your choice through your affiliate link and collect the commissions on every sale. How easy is that?

Most of Clickbank and Paydotcom’s products are based on a one time sale. There are, however, affiliate opportunities available that involve a monthly subscription or service fee. This equates to residual income for as long as the people you enlist are members of the program or service.

Markethealth.com specializes in homeopathic health and beauty products. They have a product for just about anything you can think of that your body might need, from hair loss to weight loss. Many of these products involve an auto-shipping program. This means monthly commissions each and every time they send your customer a new supply. And you can bet if someone signs up for Provillus (a hair loss treatment) and starts seeing results, they’re going to continue using the product. They also pay out commissions on free trials for products such as TeethWhiten and Acai Berry Select. They’ll pay you $20 just for getting someone to sign up for a free trial.

All three websites have an iron clad, no questions asked, money back guarantee on their products. They all have 1-800 customer service numbers.

These are not fly by night companies. They will continue to be around for years to come. The only question that remains is…

Will you profit from the opportunities they provide?

Natural Mineral Cosmetics: Flawless Dusting

September 3rd, 2010

The Product

Virtually no allergy risk, natural mineral cosmetics allow skin to breath. Talc free, chemical free, and dye free natural cosmetics recommended by plastic surgeons and dermatologists, are created from powdered minerals. Their consistency and mineral content act together to calm the most sensitive skin.

Over time mineral cosmetics actually improve your skin. Since your skin is allowed to breathe through the mineral foundation, no oily barrier preventing oxygen from reaching your skin, the texture and tone of your skin improve. Microscopic fibers fill up those tiny lines in your skin and give your complexion a natural healthy glow.

The best part of natural cosmetics is their ability to add a youthful glow while protecting your skin from harmful solar rays. Consisting of mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, ultramarine, zinc oxide, mineral foundation is particularly well suited to use as a sunscreen. Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are both used in high quality sun blocks. These cancer fighting sun-blocking agents are both in most mineral make up products.

Mineral cosmetics are ideal for anyone suffering from acne or post surgical skin procedures. In most instances acne improves after extended periods of using mineral make up because titanium dioxide does not promote the growth of bacteria as some cosmetics may. Due to the dry formula of mineral cosmetics, ingredients such as talc, dye, and perfume are not added. Therefore mineral cosmetics offer a chemical free option to popular cosmetic choices.

100 percent natural cosmetics provide excellent coverage, staying power, and creaseless beauty all day long. Natural anti-drying agents help to seal in moisture and prevent clogged pores. Mineral cosmetics dusted on liberally with special high quality brushes fill tiny lines and hide blemishes, leaving a soft healthy glow and sun protections. Because they don抰 have to be reapplied during the day, they reduce stress and increase the happy factor in your life.

The Application

Foundation gives your face a flawless silky glow that reflects health with fine texture and uniform color. A little goes a long way. It is always best to start your make up application with clean fresh skin. If you choose to use moisturizer, it must be fully absorbed before applying mineral cosmetics.

To conceal any flaws: Lightly brush mineral foundation over any areas where flaws exist. Light layers cover better than one heavy layer; so go lightly.

Mineral foundation should be applied to dry skin, moisture will make it cake and appear uneven on your skin. Using a brush to apply the foundation in circular motions results in flawless coverage.

Blusher or bronzing powder should be applied as a highlighting accent to your face and completed with a finishing powder to set your make up.

Eye shadow can be applied either wet or dry, using a shadow brush, apply lightly and add more as needed. A bit of bronzer is an excellent eye shadow choice for daytime wear.

Using a light touch and the right brushes will help you achieve that dewy glow of youth and good health. These products are inexpensive and long lasting, making them an excellent choice for everyday cosmetic needs.

Incorporating Rubberstamping Into Your Scrapbooks

September 3rd, 2010

I started out as a stamper. I remember being amazed at how a line art drawing could produce such beautiful results. I started out simply stamping and coloring in and progressed to more advanced techniques. And then I was introduced to Scrapbooking via a home party. But I was a stamper! How could I combine the two?

I began incorporating my rubberstamps into my scrapbooks and you can too. You can use rubberstamps as backgrounds, titles, decorative accents, decorative borders and any way you can think of. For me using rubberstamps in my scrapbooks provided an additional creative expression to pass down to my children. Of course, rubberstamp styles and techniques have changed over the years and even some stamps are available specifically for Scrapbooking. Here are a few ideas for incorporating rubberstamps into your scrapbooks:

* Stamps as backgrounds-Randomly stamp all over a sheet of 12×12 cardstock to create your own custom background combining color combinations to coordinate with your photos. Idea: stamp various leaves in beautiful fall colors randomly on a sheet of 12×12 cardstock. A perfect background for photos of your kids playing in the leaves!

* Stamps as titles-Many stamps would make great titles all by themselves. A stamp that says “Happy Easter” would make a perfect title for an Easter layout.

* Alpha stamps as titles-There are plenty of alphabet stamp sets in various fonts. Pick your favorite or two and stamp a title. Or simply stamp the first letter in a journaling block. Stamp the letters a little staggered for a fun look and then you don’t have to worry about stamping a straight line. Another idea is to stamp out the letters to compose the word or phrase you want and then punch out with decorative punches. Circles, squares, tags, flowers and other decorative punches for a whimsical touch to your pages.

* Stamps as decorative accents-stamps of children in Halloween costumes make a cute accent to your Halloween pages. Or how about a stamped snowman for the “playing in the snow” pages?

* Stamps as decorative borders-stamp around the page, along one side, as a border on a photo matt or journaling box. For example, on a baby page stamp baby theme images like a bottle, pacifier, teddy bear, etc. as your border.

If you have rubberstamps and have been wanting to incorporate them into your scrapbooks, I hope the above ideas will help get the creative juices flowing! You can even use the same ink brushed, sponged or stippled to add a distressed or shabby chic look. So what are you waiting for? Try stamping in your scrapbooks today! Acting Lesson To Be An Successful Actor

September 3rd, 2010

Successful Actors
Advice to anyone who wants a career as an actor.

Be on time.
On a big film the money is going out the door at about 30 grand every 20 minutes. On a network TV show the rate is only a bit less. If you are ten minutes late for a job that pays five hundred bucks – you will be very disliked by the producer and everybody that works for him. People will scream at you. If you are late for an audition, the casting director will worry that you won’t get to the job on time. If you are late for a job, that casting director will also have people screaming at her. And further more there is no such thing as an eight-hour day in show business. If you cannot work a long day, you are unsuited for success in show business.

Be an early riser.
If you want to be in the movie or television business, you must be the kind of person who can get up at 5 in the morning. If you work in the theatre, your early rising will fall about 10 AM – because you work into the night. But if you plan on working in this industry you would do well to make early rising a lifelong habit. The early starts and long hours mean that you will be spending about half your life with co-workers. If you are a pain in the butt – you will be heartily disliked by other people who are also working 12 hour days. Word will get around and it will be harder to get work. Therefore be nice to people no matter what. You have to keep your ‘creative juices’ flowing during the entire 12 hours. If you don’t love doing this kind of work, being on for 12 hours is impossible.

Well groomed and clean.
You are not the part. Even the guys who play bikers and bums wear deodorant and have clean teeth. Your breath must be pleasant. A co-worker who literally stinks will get a reputation and lose opportunities because of it.

No complains
Those actors on sets who do complain about the dressing rooms, the food, the director, the co-star, the costume people, the lack of work, the hours, the script and pretty much anything. They are labelled as complainers and are rarely appreciated or tolerated for very long.

Good value from you
When you habitually give 100% of your energy to the work – you will get more work. Author Resource:-Much more information on attending an Acting Lesson on this website. See for your self.

The Increased Incidence of Scabies Among Patients in Mental Institutions

September 3rd, 2010

Scabies is a very contagious skin disease caused by infestation with a type of microscopic mite called Sarcoptes scabiei var. hominis. The parasite mites responsible for causing scabies can be easily contracted by entering in contact with infested persons. Scabies can also be acquired indirectly, by entering in contact with contaminated objects. Although scabies mites can live for a few days without a human host, recent studies have revealed that scabies is rarely acquired indirectly.

Once they find a human host, scabies mites quickly populate the skin, hiding in less exposed regions of the body. Female mites usually lay their eggs under the fingernails, in the skin folds between the toes or fingers, in the pubic region, in the areas of the buttocks or the upper back, in armpits and the region of the elbows. The first symptoms generated by scabies are skin inflammation, itch and rash. In later stages of the mite infestation, people can also develop skin ulcerations, lesions, blisters, pustules, crust and painful nodules. Most of the symptoms caused by scabies occur due to allergic reactions to the mites’ toxic secretions. Persistent skin inflammation and the occurrence of open lesions render people affected by scabies very vulnerable to bacterial or fungal infections. In the absence of an appropriate medical treatment, scabies can lead to serious skin disorders such as impetigo.

Although scabies can be acquired by anyone, the condition is very common among hospitalized patients, especially those who suffer from mental disorders such as dementia. Scabies is very contagious and it can cause serious endemics in overcrowded hospitals, nursing homes and asylums. Due to their limited mobility and their poor self-awareness, debilitating patients in mental institutions are very exposed to acquiring scabies during outbreaks. Malpraxis, neglect and delayed medical assistance during scabies endemics in mental institutions allow the disease to spread among inpatients and medical staff.

In many cases, patients with mental impairment are diagnosed with scabies long after they develop serious complications, rendering the task of overcoming the disease even more difficult. Poor patient monitoring and medical neglect are nowadays thought to be leading factors in causing scabies outbreaks in mental institutions and nursing homes.

In the last decades, scientists have conducted various studies in order to determine the exact causes for the increased incidence of scabies in hospitalized patients with dementia and other mental disorders. Research results have revealed that the high incidence of scabies in mental institutions is caused solely by environmental factors. The conducted studies haven’t suggested any physiological relations between mentally impaired patients and the high incidence of scabies among this category of people. Scientists have concluded that people with mental disorders don’t present any increased physiological risks in developing scabies.
